Funeral

Well my cousin's grandmother died :/ I didn't really know/remember her so I didn't really feel anything about it (I know i'm heartless) but today when I went to her funeral I saw my cousin crying her eyes out (and so many others) and just felt sad :( and so I wrote this poem...even though I know it's not much of a comfort! But I know that she lived a happy and fulfilled life :D There were so many people there for her...i knew she was loved ^^

Funeral

Cry, cry your eyes out

And then cry some more

When you’re tired of crying

Pick yourself up and smile

You’ll still cry once in a while

Especially when you think of that person

That person who once was so close to you

But now it’s gone

However as time goes on

I hope you’ll smile more than you cry

After all you still have the memories to keep you warm

And that special person will always live on, inside of you

When you need a shoulder to cry on

Just knock on my door

Because you know I’ll be there to make you laugh

Another angel was born today

So don’t be sad forever

Smile while remembering the good times

And don’t forget

Death is not the end

It’s just another beginning
